Brushes are Overrated:
Who needs a variety of brushes when you can create a masterpiece with just one old, frayed brush? Embrace the chaos!
Perfect Circles are for Amateurs:

Perfect Circles are for Amateurs:

Color Theory is a Myth:
Forget about complementary colors and harmonious palettes. Artists pick colors blindly and hope for the best. It's called "color roulette."
Perspective is Overrated Too:
Who needs proper perspective? Just throw everything onto the canvas and call it "abstract." Perspective is for those who fear the thrill of wonky proportions.
Details Schmetails:
Tiny details are for those who have too much time on their hands. A true artist embraces the power of suggestion – let the viewer fill in the blanks.
Overthinking Ruins Art:
Planning? Nah, that's for accountants. Throw caution to the wind, and let spontaneity guide your hand. The more "non art things", the better.
Art Supplies are Just a Scam:
You don't need all those fancy art supplies. Just grab whatever's lying around – a ketchup bottle can be a paintbrush, right? But if you do want to get some fancy art supplies, definitely go for better paper quality than tools, especially if you're on a budget
Criticism is for the Weak:
Who cares what others think? Your art is a masterpiece, and if they don't get it, that's cool! But artist should just be themselves, my new motto is embrace the chaos!
Sellout? Never:
Who needs to eat when you have artistic integrity? Cant make money? no worries! Its just another form of artistic expression.
Remember, these tips are purely sarcastic
(and probably not the best advice) *Actual art may vary*
My story is shrouded in mystery because, let's face it, legends don't need biographies. Birthplace? Irrelevant.

Education? I educated myself through the never ending creative process!
(I'm self taught)
My art? It's a fusion of chaos and brilliance, like trying to decipher hieroglyphics while riding a unicycle. Critics say my work

Yes I know. This one is shared so much. But its true and very helpful. No one is born naturally good at art. Practice is the only way to improve. Practice does not make your art perfect, but instead it makes progress. Which is even better!
Everyone has different tastes in doing art. Not everyone is going to like painting, while others might really dislike charcoal (speaking from experience)
Anyways, branch out. Try different things! You might just find your thing!
Ok, this might contradict what I said higher up, but color theory can help you out a ton! Need a certain color? Color theory can help you with that. Color theory does not have to be reading long lessons! Art is supposed to be fun, you can learn color theory by testing your art supplies! Get creative!
I like to find references of things I want to paint/draw online. Some good recourses I use... Pinterest, Google, Instagram. But you don't have to use the internet to find inspiration. You can go outside, use creation, animals, books, movies. You can find inspiration anywhere. Just start thinking creatively!
When doing art, you may see others progressing faster than you. Everyone gains skills at different speeds. Its very important that you don't compare yourself to others. Remember, you have to get all the bad art out of the way before you can make a masterpiece.
As you get better, you will start liking your art more. But if you compare yourself with others, you wont keep doing art, because the only way to get better is to practice!
A common thing that beginner artists do, is draw from memory and if that works for you, that's awesome! But if you struggle with proportions, try using different methods of doing art. This could include using the grid method, using sight based methods, or even tracing. Tracing you ask? Yes, I don't recommend it for gaining skill, but it can be a good skill to teach you how to draw proportions. If you do trace make sure to cite the source you traced. Its giving credit to the other artist.
If you are doing art, try to have a designated space where you do it. Art is very messy. Whether you are painting, using charcoal, graphite, or just coloring with crayons, you are going to leave something behind. Embrace the chaos!
Art can be a great tool to help relive emotions! Its also a great way to relax.
One way I like to get my creative juices flowing, is by just starting. You heard me right, just paint, just make that first mark! Also find out what you enjoy listening to while creating your masterpiece. For me, I like to listen to music in my ear buds while I create!
You got this! Remember that art is not supposed to be difficult! Its supposed to be enjoyable! You wont see progress overnight. Art is a marathon, not a sprint! No one is born with perfect artistic talent.
If art is your passion, keep going and you will see results, and improvements!
Art is my passion!
